This was the second time that l've stayed here with my family. We stayed in 2014 and the stay this time was even better than the last time. They made some updates to the property (staircase from the balcony to the lower level, updated appliances). You never get tired of going out on the balcony and just enjoying the beautiful beach just steps away from the house. I would definitely stay here again.
This place is amazing! Do you like the beach but is it a lot to have to track with all the sand in the car. Please do not look further. This Airbnb will have you think you’re a celebrity status. To wake up and go in the kitchen and hear the waves on the beach is the best feeling and definitely made it feel like a VACATION! The host and property manager were very attentive to the needs of our family and we did not go without. The washer /dryer was an added bonus that I do not plan on going without going forward. There’s nothing like the feeling of getting back home with a bag full of clean clothes! Thank you for this wonderful Airbnb.
Beautiful accommodations. The location is spacious and open. We were a party of 5 adults and had more than enough room. We had no issues with our 1 week stay and never had to contact owners during stay. Only contact we had was prior to arriving to get great instructions regarding location. We were provided with contact information in case we needed them, but never had to use the information. We would definitely rebook this location if we were to come back to Rincon area.
My family and I stayed at this beautiful property (both units:top and bottom), for Thanksgiving break (8days). The beauty that it offers include the beautiful beach and the gorges sunsets.. I mean the view is absolutely beautiful!!
However, we did encounter some problems while there. First including my niece and my one year old daughter walking down the outdoor steps to the beach and it broke.. Thank God they were not injured but it could have went bad. Not really going to blame this on the owners, but I think they should make sure that the maintenance guy check for things like this. Also to mention the maintenance man. We were all there for vacation; so to be awaken by the maintenance guy doing some sort of work on the driveway, which including a lot of scraping on the ground, bothered us because it was early morning while we were sleeping.
As we would walk down to the beach the neighbor dog would terrorize the kids with the barking and running up to the steps. The internet in the upstairs unit went out and we ask for the maintenance guy to come fix it. He came but he did not fix the problem. Also the dryer went out as we were using it. Also be aware that there is a crack in the upstairs unit by sliding doors.
Oh one other thing, so this family came (about 7 of them) to just stand directly in front of the property and tied the dogs up to the stairs was just really hanging out in the front of the property (beach side). Not sure if it was the owner of the property but it made us uncomfortable and if it was the owners; it would have been nice if they would have let us know instead of just standing and watching us. Also ants are everywhere in the property (but not a lot where you are scared you will be bitten).
Besides that if you want that beauty of the view.. This property is for you.
What a great place, especially if you share in the cost with your gal pals which is what we did! * Communication was clear from the start, so it’s best to use the AirBnB app * Our flight was delayed to San Juan so we hit traffic on the highway to Rincon.. I think next time I’ll stay in San Juan on my travel day, relax, and then drive 2.5 hrs to Rincon which is well worth it! * We rented a paddle board for three days, went snorkeling, and saw manatees in the ocean! I channeled my inner pirate and paddle boarded along the coast when I saw them * Kitchen has all the major cookware but we ate dinner downtown sometimes.. absolute fav was Bob Davila’s! Don’t let the name fool you, the food was excellent and we shopped around in the market square afterwards * the outdoor patio was my favorite.. if you’re choosing between the bottom or upper unit, in my opinion, the outdoor space of the bottom unit wins hands down! I would definitely come again!
