The restaurant has a beautiful layout with both indoor and outdoor seating that caters to different moods and preferences. The lighting and music set a warm, welcoming tone, making for a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was kindly greeted within just a few minutes.
Although I didn’t notice the host stand outside and walked in on my own, the staff was still friendly and accommodating. That said, I’d recommend checking in with the host especially for larger parties to ensure a smooth experience.
I ordered a Medalla and the salmon dish, which was flavorful and generously portioned with a thick, well-cooked piece of salmon. Alrhough I was seated right next to the pizza station, and the smell coming from there was incredible definitely something I’d try on my next visit.
A special shoutout to Christopher, the bartender, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout my meal. His service really added to the positive experience.
Great atmosphere, but this place fell off. They ran out of some food choices and the food is not as tasty as it used to be. The drinks are still great and you can order food from the other restaurant that shares the same space
Katie was awesome with her kindness and informative about food for us to try. My husband had the red snapper and I had the mufungo. They give a very large portion of food so you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere was welcoming as we sat out on the outside terrace with some music, the weather was perfect and it was not too pricey. Food taste was what we were looking for. Will recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting San Juan, Puerto Rico
The food was excellent, portions were plentiful and the atmosphere was perfect! Would definitely go here again! It's a little tricky finding the entrance but we figured it out.
Beware Tourist trap…our bill for 2 appetizers, 6 drinks (barely any alcohol), 3 sparkling waters & 3 main meals was $400. Total ripoff. You have to walk thru another restaurant to reach this place. Outdoor seating overlooks the street. Hard metal chairs. Puerto Rican dishes are not on the menu, you need to ask. Monfongo was dry & tasteless, awful. My two colleagues ordered the skirt streak with rice & beans and they said it was ok. Would not go again. Do not waste your money here. Our female server was wonderful and very sweet. She was the only good part of dinner.
