The restaurant has a beautiful layout with both indoor and outdoor seating that caters to different moods and preferences. The lighting and music set a warm, welcoming tone, making for a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was kindly greeted within just a few minutes.
Although I didn’t notice the host stand outside and walked in on my own, the staff was still friendly and accommodating. That said, I’d recommend checking in with the host especially for larger parties to ensure a smooth experience.
I ordered a Medalla and the salmon dish, which was flavorful and generously portioned with a thick, well-cooked piece of salmon. Alrhough I was seated right next to the pizza station, and the smell coming from there was incredible definitely something I’d try on my next visit.
A special shoutout to Christopher, the bartender, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout my meal. His service really added to the positive experience.
Great atmosphere, but this place fell off. They ran out of some food choices and the food is not as tasty as it used to be. The drinks are still great and you can order food from the other restaurant that shares the same space
Katie was awesome with her kindness and informative about food for us to try. My husband had the red snapper and I had the mufungo. They give a very large portion of food so you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere was welcoming as we sat out on the outside terrace with some music, the weather was perfect and it was not too pricey. Food taste was what we were looking for. Will recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting San Juan, Puerto Rico
The food was excellent, portions were plentiful and the atmosphere was perfect! Would definitely go here again! It's a little tricky finding the entrance but we figured it out.
Tourist trap!!! I saw lots of compliments recommending this place and walked in for dinner. Seems like the management and service here was a mess and they tried every trick in the book to charge more for tourists, so you need to be very careful. We asked for regular water but the waitress brought us expensive bottle of spring water, which costs $3 per bottle later when we found on the bill. We emphasized that we just need regular/tap water and the waitress unwillingly switched to regular water because it's free. The waitress even didn't bring us small plates to share appetizers. When we ordered, there was another waitress took the order, who was not our waitress and very weird. She said they have the famous dish Mofongo but it's not on the menu due to the fact that sometimes they have it sometimes they don't. How ridiculous it is that they self-identify as "Puerto Rico" restaurant but sometimes they don't have the most famous dish Mofongo and even does not have a clear price marked on the menu. I ordered the country style rice for 1 with ribs and the waitress didn't tell us that I have to order for 2 in order to have the rib and placed the order for 2, which I found out later when I paid the bill. The waitress got self-awareness and voluntarily waived the tip at the end. The only reason that I didn't give a 1-star was that the chef cooked good food. Rib was delicious and big portion. Would never come back to this place again and won't recommend to any friends!
