I tried the Malaga Fish Soup, which was absolutely amazing! The Creole Eggplant dish was super! The beef stew had a very strong alcohol/wine flavor, that was a little too much for me. The Flan was so thick and creamy, with sweet caramel sauce, and the chocolate cake was super rich and decadent. We would definitely eat here again. The restaurant is so pretty, and our server was great! We would definitely come back!
We went as three friends to enjoy a nice dinner, but the experience was ruined from the very first drink we ordered. The bartender was extremely rude and seemed to look for every opportunity to argue with us for no reason. I truly hope the owner becomes aware of this, because that kind of attitude will drive customers away.
On the positive side, the server provided excellent service professional and attentive. Food delicious.
From the perfectly balanced Pina Colada, to the flavorful pork appetizer and succulent Osso Buco, our entire meal was a 10/10. The service was attentive and friendly. Then, the cherry on top was the dessert Budin Coquito. I can't praise this place enough! 5*****
Ok, let's talk about this gem 💎 in the middle of the "casco urbano." Im a puertorican tha didint live in the Island for the last 15 years. I barely visit the island. I stayed at the hotel in front, and from the balcony, I was spotting the place. Thank God that I went !!!! The last night was really late.. they were about to close, but welcome us and treat us amazing! People, this is a MUST! You can't miss this place!! The atmosphere, the service , all is amazing, but the food ! OMG, I can even talk about that Malanga soup!!!!!!! The Maposteau croquets omg fron another world. But an empanada from filet mignon!!! Come on!!! This is the finest presentation of the real taste of the puertorican food. Ovations for the owners and chef's! Dont hesitate to stop here! Almost forget! NATURAL JUCES !!!! try them.
We stumbled upon this restaurant after trying to snag a spot at Casita Miramar and we were so pleasantly surprised! It’s a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The estas chula cocktail is delicious, similar to an aperol spritz, and the bacalao & corn tortitas appetizer was delicious! My partner loved his burger and I enjoyed the carne guisada. The carne was a little tougher than I prefer but the flavor of everything was great.
We have it on our list to come back next time we fly into SJU.
