Amazing flavor for the steak. Amazing service. Greeted us promptly, no wait. Amazing views, area. Parking garage across the street. Can see the cruise ship from outside seating area.
We sat outside and staff seated us as soon as possible. We enjoyed a few different dishes and thought the value for money was great. The shrimp was so fresh and delicious. We loved trying traditional food. The restroom could have been cleaner with soap and paper towel.
This restaurant is located in a very touristy part of town, but don't let that deter you if you're looking for good local food. We were very happy with our meals – my mofongo with shrimps was exactly what I wanted, and my husband enjoyed his mofongo with ropa vieja. The bistek was also a hit with the kids (we requested no onion). It was a solid choice compared to my usual go-to spot. The drink menu was a bit of a letdown, though, especially for wine lovers, as there were no good options available. The Sauvignon Blanc I sampled was not to my liking. However, the margaritas on the rocks made with 1800 tequila were a definite highlight and very enjoyable. Service was a bit slow towards the end as the restaurant got very busy.
The place looks nice out, but they made a Seafood plate with chicken and chorizo. I do not eat meat and those incredients were not in the menu for the Puerto Rican Creole Gumbo, they said recipe include chicken and chorizo. I asked to be replaced by a breaded fish with rice and beans, i got a fish fillet full of onions, a mofongo that i didn't asked and a salad with only one piece of tomato (see picture). Nothing of what i asked and a bill of 134$ with a not tasty food
