The bridge is currently under restoration. The view was still breathtaking, but we would have loved to see the bridge itself. We plan to try again in the future, but for now it remains under restoration since it’s an old bridge. We visited in July 2025.
If you have limited time in Puerto Rico don’t waste it on seeing this bridge. There is a very nice view of the coast, but you don’t have to trek all the way out there to see it.
Amazing food! Great prices! And Gabriel, our server was UNBELIEVABLE! We had a party of 6 and had the best night! Beautiful view of the beach and ocean!
This is historical! Just to think that trains used to past over this bridge is awesome! It connects two canyons and if you get queasy of heights, don't look down!! It's not in use anymore and it's blocked with cement barriers so cars can't pass, but people can walk on the bridge and admire a great ocean view! It's free, no tickets needed and no waiting. Just park your car right next to the bridge and walk over!
