ADT Security Services

This establishment took advantage of my elderly mother by continuing to charge her for services after she had been informed that they were cancelled back in April. I believe I should report this establishment to the Better Business Bureau for targeting senior citizens. Additionally, it's surprising that a company serving in Puerto Rico, where Spanish is widely spoken, is unable to provide customer service in Spanish at the time. Moreover, when we requested cancellation of services, they did not respect our wishes and instead aggravated the situation by insisting on offering a better price. Even if they were to offer the service for free, I would not want it.

Stay far away from ADT. When I moved this year an cancelled my ADT security service. Unfortunately, although they had full documentation of the cancellation they did not properly do it in their system and continued to take monthly fees from my credit card. After a couple months I noticed this and called to get it sorted out. After talking with 6 different people and over 2 hours on the phone they told me that the problem was solved and I would get a refund for the monthly debits to my credit card. Fast forward another 2 months and no refund in sight and ADT continued to debit my credit card monthly without authorization. Today I spent another 2 hours on the phone talking with 5 different people including a Manager who apologized that I paid monthly for 5 months after it was supposed to be cancelled. I corrected him and told him I didn't pay anything, ADT went into my credit card for 5 months and TOOK the money from me. This is a security company that actually stole money from my credit card for 5 months. The manager said it is taken care of and will pay back the 5 months of fees taken from me. This is unacceptable that a security company has 11 employees and an electronic system that cannot stop service as requested by a customer. The last thing you expect is a security company stealing money from you. And to top it off their solution is to apologize, give the stolen money back and call it even. It's not even. I requested an additional 2 months of service fees to compensate for the many hours I had to spend on the phone correcting their mistakes and to compensate for 11 employees and an electronic system that can't be trusted to not take money from customers without authorization. My request was denied. You are better off with another security service provider.

I left one start because they don't allow me to put 0 stars. I call for assistance with my equipment and Abneris Nieves was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She told my wife that she was a liar, she was aggressive, sarcastic and refuse to provide her supervisor name and information to report the event. I see how companies fail because having employees like Abneris Nieves. if she was my employee I will fire her without any hesitation.

I bought their alarm system service in Puerto Rico. Horrible, horrible experience. 2 hours on the phone trying to cancel the account as I sold my house. I was transferred to 7 different people with no succes. Stay away from them. Horrible custumer service. Malisima compañia.

Bad service, the alarm is activated few times and ADT never call to find our if we are in good condition. Their employee don't care about the problem create by ADT.
