A Hidden Gem for Nature Lovers!!!
We had an unforgettable experience at Hacienda Árboles de Vida! Although the full campground isn’t open yet, they offer a camper for rent, three RV spots with electricity, and room for about ten tents. There’s a shared bathroom with a shower, and everything was super clean and well maintained.
The true magic of this place lies in the hiking. Just 0.1 miles from the property, we were greeted by a massive Ceiba tree—it felt like a sacred welcome into the forest. From there, we hiked a little over 1.5 miles through lush forest, past caves, cliffs, and all kinds of beautiful trees, eventually reaching the canals—crystal-clear, river-like waterways that are absolutely stunning. We spent some time walking alongside them and then made our way back, totaling about 3 miles. It’s a moderate hike with a few obstacles like fallen trees, but overall, very manageable and well worth it. It was self-guided, and the trails are clearly well-loved by nature.
If you’re looking for a quiet, off-the-beaten-path nature experience, this is the spot. We can’t wait to come back and watch this place grow!
Looking to reconnect with yourself, book a couple of days at this piece of paradise. Centrally located and hidden from the busy life of the city, still accessible, and near everything that you may need in Aguadilla. A relaxing, comfortable, and refreshing place, great for the family and small kids to get a taste of nature in a safe environment. Will come back soon!!! Weekends are getting busy better book in advance, or do what I did and book through the week to escape life and if you need work remotely (wifi available!).
Visited Hacienda Arboles de Vida today looking for a spot for a future Overlanding trip an found that thus place is really relaxing, quiet and with amazing views from the top of the hill. Looked around the hacienda from the RV parking to the camping sites, the pool, fire pits/ bbq pits and this place is really amazing very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a place to wind down and relax surrounded by nature but not to far to the main roads, restaurants and even the airport...look no more this place is perfect.
