We didn't stay here but it is a very beautiful place if you are looking for outdoor camping near el yunque this is a good place. I took pics over the valley are where the camping is.
You should call and make a reservation. I was lucky and he let me stay without one. I had the whole place to myself. The view is amazing. It is cool and dry up there. Well worth the insane climb pushing my bike up the mountain!
We had an amazing experience with Rio Blanco campground. The communication is great, easy access, stunning view, clean water and bathroom and if you want a little privacy and a little luxury they also have a semi private area with a jacuzzi. We can’t wait to come back! Gracias Jose
Amazing campground with a wonderful view and very nice hosts. They have everything you need, including an adorable little kitten they recently adopted. It is way up a mountain with a steep serpentine for a road, so be prepared. We came with a camper van and made it up but it was slightly scary the first time.
Would definitely go again!
