ACE Rent A Car

We rented first time with Ace. From the moment we arrived at the airport we got picked up immediately with a shuttle. The customer service was great at the office. The car was new, clean in great condition. When we returned, no problems. Easy drop off and got back to the airport with a shuttle. Just wanted to say, they are great reliable company with very nice employees. We would definitely rent from them again. Hustle free, worry free

First time renting with Ace/ Charlie car rental. I did book with Cartrawler third party site and had no issue from beginning to end. I did how ever did not know and was not informed about their insurance policy and deductible. I blame the third party site not describing your deposit will be equal to your deductible mine being ($500). So be prepared to pay a higher deposit or what ever your insurance deductible is. No wait for shuttle as it was awaiting our arrival at SJU. Ariel was swift at check in and made the process less than 15 minutes. Checking out Melanie was great at explaining check out. No extra fees, No hassle, Stress free rental. Deposit returned immediately. As an owner of rental car company myself in South Florida, I would highly recommend Ace/ Charlie rentals in San Juan

Super helpful staff, not pushy on upselling their own insurance but rather helpful explaining the difference between theirs and having your own. Overall one of the easiest car rental experiences I’ve had. Nice clean car and car seat add on was a decent seat, nothing premium but seemed safe and our child slept good on a longer drive. Would recommend, but check the tolls prices before adding the electronic toll pass, we probably could’ve gotten by without pre paying

Definitely 5 stars for Ace Rent-A-Car, great employees, great service, fast and friendly, no hidden fees, easy in and easy out, no issues what so ever, highly recommend and will return in near future. Pro tip, get the extra insurance, get unlimited mileage, and get the prepass for highway usage, well worth it in the long run!Thank you Charlie's staff and ace employees. Had the exact same experience as someone else here. I fully paid on Priceline then they charged me double in person. Demanded a $1000 deposit if you do not buy they insurance... which I was previously not aware of. The car was old and had damages on it when we rented it. Staff was not helpful or accommodating in explaining things to us. The manager is very arrogant.... Avoid at all cost.
