Beautiful waterfall - well worth the trip! Enjoyed it a lot more than some of the more popular falls in El Yunque (e.g. Juan Diego) because it’s much less crowded. We came on a Sunday, and with a bit of rock scrambling were able to find a secluded swimming hole to ourselves. Easy to park and no fee. Only negative is the road leading in is a bit bumpy.

Beautiful waterfall. We went during a very rainy few days and the water level was too high to swim. There is a path to the left of the bridge (when looking at the waterfall) that goes along the river and leads to some nice river and rainforest views, but it was exceptionally muddy and somewhat challenging to traverse.

This was amazing and I think it’s 1 of 5? Water is nice and cool A beautiful place where it’s quiet and you can be one with nature. It can be accessed from right along the side of the road, don’t need a reservation inside of El Yunque rain forest. Watch out on the roads though lots of pot holes to get there. Careful though! the rocks are very slippery when even a little wet. Strangely we didn’t see any wildlife while we were there, just a few lizards maybe. 🤔

Gorgeous view and fun but challenging hiking opportunity. I highly recommend getting a guide because the trail is unclear in many places (as in, I didn't realize that was a trail even while looking at it). However the payoff is worth it; both the vistas and the mineral water pool to swim in at your own risk. Keep in mind to go much higher than the pictured waterfall will require physical acumen.
