The check-in process was as smooth as it could be, but the hotel itself didn’t quite live up to the photos online. The walkways were cracked, sink drains were rusted, and the mattress was hard as a brick. There was a shared door between rooms, and we could hear everything from next door. We definitely budgeted on this hotel and got what we paid for.
The daily $25 dining voucher was a nice perk. The dinner staff was excellent, the server was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the breakfast/brunch crew wasn’t the same. We waited over an hour for food, and orders were still wrong.
The staff overall was kind and welcoming, but if you’re looking for a quality hotel experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Thankfully, my partner made our 3-day stay feel more comfortable despite the hiccups.
The Hotel itself it has a good location but inside the room its very outdated. The toilet was leaking from the back, it didn’t had a microwave. Also the blind for the window view didn’t go up to be able to see the views, and was missing a full body mirror it only had the vanity one . The valet parking staff were awesome and available always for us. The check in was pretty smooth. Overall it wasn’t bad but it’s not great I would suggest to look for more options.
Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service
I had a great stay. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and enjoyable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing.
One thing that stood out was how responsive the housekeeping team was. I had requested an iron for my room, and although it wasn't there initially, I mentioned it to the cleaning crew and they brought one up within minutes. Their attentiveness and efficiency really impressed me.
The only small issue I encountered was with the room temperature. It felt a bit cold and humid, and adjusting the settings didn’t seem to make much of a difference. While it wasn’t a major problem, it did affect the overall comfort slightly.
Still, the great service, cleanliness, and attention to detail more than made up for it. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-run hotel.
The room was very clean and seemed to be kept up fairly well. The AC worked great. All of the interactions with the front desk staff, maintenance, and housekeeping were pleasant. I did drop our rating because of some unpleasant experiences at the hotel restaurant. The voucher system seems to be built in a way that makes it difficult to redeem them without spending additional money. We also were informed after our meal that an automatic gratuity is added when vouchers are used. We did plan to tip, but not as much as what was added after the fact, and didn't have enough money with us to pay for the extra cost. Had we known ahead of time, we would have simply chosen a more affordable option that we had enough funds for. To be honest...I'm not sure if it really IS a policy of the hotel, as it almost seemed that the employees at the time were taking advantage of the late evening hours and blamed "management" for the fact that we weren't better informed. Either way, if this is a real policy, a sign or note on the vouchers would be a fairly simple way to help us not feel like we were taken advantage of. Worst case scenario, we really were scammed and this could be something happening fairly frequently.
Other than that, this was a great spot and we enjoyed the close proximity to the beach!
You get more than you pay for with this hotel. It’s a great value for its location and amenities. Close to the beach, restaurants, and tourist shops, but just removed enough from Ashford Avenue’s noise, people, and traffic.
We were welcomed warmly at the hotel when we arrived. Edith at the front desk is a gem! The rooms are fine…comfortable bed and pillows, clean linens, basic towels and toiletries. Nothing luxurious, but everything is functional and comfortable for a low-maintenance stay.
In terms of amenities…the mandatory daily resort fee is well worth it. We used the $25 restaurant credit for breakfast each day, which was delicious and a lovely way to start the day. It was only a short walk to the beach and we gratefully used the beach loungers, umbrellas, and towels provided by the hotel. The pool area was small but clean, quiet, and tucked away from the noise of nearby streets.
