We had a great few days, even doe we live here, it’s always nice to get away within the Island.
There are so many things to do here.
We had an awesome time, hotel was clean, cozy and staff was amazing.
They consist of 2 pools, one ground level and the second an infinity pool in upper level.
We got here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed.
Ground floor had a bunch of local artisanal vendors.
As the night was approaching it got all quiet and most the guests departed.
This means we almost had the entire hotel to ourselves Monday and Tuesday.
There are discounts online where you are able to include breakfast buffet, pizza, beer and they offer Military Discount.
We had reservations for 7 nights at this hotel, but checked out after 3 nights. During our entire stay, our room temperature was 63 to 64 degrees F. The room thermostat did not work and there was no way to even turn it off. According to the staff at the front desk, all of the guest rooms were controlled by a central thermostat. All they could offer was extra blankets. We ended up propping our balcony door open which caused a rain forest effect, making all our belongings damp. Plus, the noise from the casino went on until early morning hours. The layout of the hotel room was very strange. When you enter the room, you come directly into the bathroom. There is no privacy for dressing. The shower is right next to the door. There was a tiny rod next to the door to hang a jacket but no closet to hang clothes in. The hallway to our room always had a sour odor.
The parking lot was a nightmare with potholes and tight parking spaces. Parking was limited by construction fencing, requiring hotel guests to park a long way from the entrance and having to enter through the back entrance. There was no designated parking for hotel guests, so casino visitors usually monopolized the closest spots. The breakfast was subpar. Very limited choices and pancakes as hard as hockey pucks. The location of the hotel is not aesthetic. It is bordered on 3 sides by busy, loud highways. We had a decent size balcony but the hard plastic furniture was very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. One of the worst hotel experiences ever.
Great costumer service, food at Hard Rock Cafe was great and Casino was fun. Room was nice and clean, a bit noisy the first night but the following nights were smoother. Overall recommend and very centric if looking to explore the Ponce area.
The rooms aren’t well maintained. The electrical outlets near bed didn’t work. The property isn’t well maintained…the gym doesn’t have a treadmill and you can’t run outside. Parking is challenging. Outside noise from highway is loud at all times during the night and we heard multiple gunshots. The staff is nice but as a platinum elite member, I’m disappointed. The main pool is nice and first floor is really nice.
I wish we could have a nice Marriott resort hotel in the south.
The rooms were weird, as soon as you opened the door and entered the room you were in the bathroom and had to walk through the bathroom into the bedroom. The thermostat would tell you that you were in a meat locker but would not actually allow you to change the temperature, our room was 63 degrees Fahrenheit all day and all night. The only way to warm up the room was to open the balcony door where road noise and loud music kept waking you up. We checked out long before our week was up and found a nice warm hotel.
