Gabriela was the person who attended our table, and she provided excellent service. The entire experience was amazing the food was absolutely delicious, and the view was both relaxing and breathtakingly beautiful. To make it even more special, we had an esperanza visit our table, which was just magical. From the outstanding service to the excellent food and serene atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations.
Everything about this place just was perfection. The staff was very organized and knew exactly what to do and where to go. The service was excellent. The fooooodddddd. Omgggg. The best pork I’ve had so far living on the island. It gets packed so make sure you have a little patience waiting for a table or your food but trust me. It’s worth it.
Casa vieja is an old house decorated with antiques on the road to Ciales. The view is amazing.
We got there really early and were first in line on a Sunday. At noon they let us choose our table and the place got full in 5 minutes with a long waiting line.
The food is very savory and a tiny bit salty.
The Tamarind juice is exactly right. Fresh, not too sweet, not too sour, just delicious!
We shared our dishes and ended up with leftovers and orders to go for our family to enjoy a treat from “el campo”.
Highly recommended for the experience, the view, the road trip and, of course, the food.
Small local spot with great food. Worth the drive. Was one of my best meals in PR and had a breathtaking view. Slow days in PR are basically M, T, W. Go on a Saturday evening. It's a 40 min or so drive from San Juan.
