I was visiting here and the atmosphere isn't conducive to a cover charge. The drink options are simple and with limited alternatives for booze. It's Friday night, so I thought there would be a crowd, but at eleven o'clock, my group of five were the only ones there. Eventually, eight more, elderly individuals, popped in. With entry fee being $8 instead of feeling like I went to someone's empty basement, I would have preferred to pay additional cover to spend a "night" somewhere else. If you've never been to this scene before, don't make it your first choice.
The pics make it look like a huge open warehouse. It's not. It's a perfect sized nightclub with a light floor and a HUGE drag stage. Good priced drinks... though they didn't have Diet Coke, only regular for my normal rum & diet cokes. I got here about 40 minutes after opening and they were starting a drag show shortly after this and the bar had a good number of people inside already!
I went on Saturday night when there were two drag shows. I got there between the shows and pretty much no one was in inside. Some people were just chilling outside waiting for the next show to start. Seems common in the neighborhood, not just here. Small cover.
Had a great time — there was a show that night that started at 1:00 AM! They made two announcements before it started to keep you updated. The DJ was playing well while we waited —reggaeton, pop, RNB and house mixes were playing. The inside is cute and well air conditioned. People were friendly and the vibe was good. The show was absolutely amazing. We didn’t have to give cover when we came at 12:00.
