Understanding that tattooing is an art form, I can allow and respect a certain amount of eccentricity from some tattoo artists. However, regardless of their skill level or recognition, tattoo artists should not forget that they are providing a service to customers who are paying for it and also deserve respect. Refusing to do an armband tattoo of a specific customer-provided design (and not an elaborate one) because it doesn't match the artist's "style" or (maybe) because it's too small a job for the artist's $500 - $700 per full-day session is VERY poor service. My experience at this place was very disappointing. And the art on display for sale is highly overpriced.
This is an incredible place to get a tattoo. Professional, clean and super talented artist. Remember you get what you pay for. If you want a top quality tattoo with amazing colors and details this is the place. You have to plan ahead though as it takes time to get an appointment due to his high demand. If you're looking for a piece of art on your body--plan ahead and see Carlitos. Currently Im getting a half sleeve done by him, and all I can say is, CARLITOS IS THE MAN. He's an expert at his craft, trade and tools. Enough said, Im traveling from Atlanta, GA every other month to get the Masterpiece done by the artist. About the studio, the decor is super dope. It's an artwork galore. The walls are covered in all types of paintings artwork from different genres, which shows the diverse skillset and interest of the studio made by Carlitos and other top level artists including Don Rimx and Ahol Sniffs Glue. The team here are super chill, friendly and know their stuff.
Every visit has been amazing.
