We saw the escape room as we walking around. It was 3 of us and we have done escape room before and 1st time for our teenager. He had a good time we almost gave up but the employees were great with the 2 hints and we were able to finish. It was fun passing the time. Thank you Luis and Stephanie for a fun time and especially for speaking English for our son :).
Showed up 15 minutes early, waited 10 mins after our time was supposed to start, door said closed the entire time. Phone number goes directly to a full mailbox and nobody is answering emails ever. Complete scam.
I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to visit Escape Room Puerto Rico, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Take this and the others reviews as a warning to anyone considering this establishment for a thrilling escape room experience. Prepare yourself for a complete letdown and a shocking display of abysmal customer service.
Upon arriving at the scheduled time, my friends and I were filled with excitement and anticipation. We had been eagerly looking forward to this event for weeks, hoping for an unforgettable adventure. However, our dreams of a thrilling escape were crushed when we discovered the doors of Escape Room Puerto Rico were inexplicably closed.
The first red flag was the lack of any prior communication from the owners regarding the closure. We had received no emails, text messages, or even a phone call to inform us of the unfortunate situation. We had to find out the hard way by standing there, dumbfounded and perplexed, in front of a locked door.
Attempting to salvage the situation, we immediately tried to contact the owners to seek an explanation or, at the very least, an apology. Sadly, our efforts were in vain. We made multiple attempts to reach them through various channels—phone calls, emails, social media—but our cries for assistance fell on deaf ears. The complete lack of response from the owners only added insult to injury.
The sheer disappointment we felt in that moment is difficult to put into words. We had set aside time in our busy schedules, eagerly rearranging our plans, only to be greeted by an empty, closed escape room. It was an infuriating waste of our time and energy.
The complete lack of professionalism and respect for their customers demonstrated by Escape Room Puerto Rico is unacceptable, on this occasion and the other occasions from the other reviewers. This experience has left a bitter taste in our mouths, and we will not be returning to Escape Room Puerto Rico or recommending it to anyone.
I strongly advise against wasting your time, money, and energy on Escape Room Puerto Rico. The absence of any communication, the closed doors, and the non-existent customer service reflect a severe lack of professionalism and regard for their patrons. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by seeking out an escape room establishment that values their customers and understands the importance of providing a positive experience. Escape Room Puerto Rico certainly does not meet those criteria.
A fantastic experience. I stumbled upon this place while walking by, noticing some tourists going in. I had no idea what it was about until the lady explained everything to me, and she absolutely convinced me. It was worth every penny. I'll definitely do it again, but a different theme (they have 4 to choose).
The escape rooms are located in viejo San Juan which isnt the worst area but theres a lot of traffic in the area when the cruise ships dock and you have to park in the parking garages and walk to the location. The parking lots get full quickly as well. The escape room was bilingual but the building doesnt permit authenticity. We had fun but didnt get out lol. I think the only thing I didnt like was all the locks were the same 4 digit numerical ones so thats all you could look for in the room. 🤷🏽♀️ There was some slightly illogical stuff but that could just be mental denial from over thinking the puzzles lol. Ive been in harder rooms and got out. The other issue I had is the manager was supposed to call me back but didnt so now I have to figure that out.
