A rare and majestic place in PR,
Just spent an amazing day at Hacienda Siesta Alegre and I can’t stop grinning! The owners are some of the kindest, most heart-warming people I’ve ever met—they truly make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. The food was absolutely incredible, bursting with fresh flavors and local charm. And let’s not forget the horseback riding—such a magical and fun experience riding through the beautiful grounds! Highly recommend this place for good vibes, great eats, and unforgettable memories.
I would give more stars if I could! Everything was perfect and we were so upset to leave. The hosts are fantastic, the property is beautiful, we fell in love with the horses and loved feeding them little bamboo leaf snacks whenever we could, the restaurant is fantastic, there is a cute library full of old books. I cant wait to return!
The location, the service, the beauty and the mission of this hacienda are truly a reflection of the warmth of the people of Puerto Rico.
The rooms have old world charm, the cantina was a special delight. Jason, the chef and Luis the bartender made our evening magical. Jason went out of his way to show us the stables, where they rescue retired horses from their time in the race track. He gave my family fresh carrots to give to the horses as we were introduced to these magnificent animals. The house breakfast the next morning only added to the wonderful experience from the night before. The GM greeted us with a warm smile and gave us a short history of the place. The coffee brought back the delights I experienced as a child around my Abuela’s kitchen in Toa baja, PR. They nailed it when they brought the pastelón to the table. Perfection! Thank you!

Absolutely loved it here! This place is like a dream! We stayed in The Pond House and it was STUNNING! The breakfast every morning was delicious! Lady at breakfast was so kind and told us some local places to go. Close to hiking for El
Yunque.
