I went here twice and both times the food did not disappoint. Clearly the locals love it here too. If you want 100% authentic Puerto Rican food, go here and not the overpriced tourist places in Old San Juan.
This is a great stop if you are going to or from the airport! We got the churrasco and fried pork mofongo and it was amazing. When you taste it, you will know this is the real deal. Anything close to this quality is usually twice the price on the rest of the island. The meat especially was so tasty.
The woman who helped us was very nice and spoke English pretty well, so do not be concerned if you're a monolingual American :~) look at this photo - you can't go wrong!
Note - when we went there was no food truck. It was a storefront behind a gate. The woman explained they used to have a truck, but upgraded to a space that used to be their home. So do not be confused if you don't see a truck!
