I’ve lived and have traveled to PR for decades. This was the first time I went to Hacienda Chocolat and it was an absolute pleasure. Our tour guide was well versed on the history, and overall process of the business. The grounds are very well kept and service is on point.
A lovely experience, thanks to the entire staff and owners.
A must do to all of those visiting the island.
We had a great time and learned a lot on how the cacao is grow, picked, and processed. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The walk was short, but the second part lasted about two hours. Make reservations in advance for either the 10:00am or the 1:00pm groups. There's no shopping for individuals. Only the ones attending the tour could purchase their products.
Such a beautiful place and fun experience! I loved learning about the whole process and getting to taste the different kinds of chocolate. The hike is so beautiful and they have so many wonderful plants!
Completely amazing! The farm is beautiful and the employees are highly knowledgeable about cacao and chocolate. The tasting was very well done and the chocolate was the best I’ve ever had. Living in America we have access to high quality chocolate in our grocery stores, but this was better!
Honestly, I have no words. The view is heavily. The hacienda is gorgeous. I learned so much. I have never been so proud of Puerto rican achievement! Must, must vist when in the area!
