They have an excellent service but they are a little short on staff. The parking is small and not guaranteed to guest because they allow people from the outside to enter the premises (I had to park in the driveway two times). But if you ignore that, it was a really lovely and quiet stay in a beautiful place.
Hacienda Juanita is very beautiful. It has a wonderful view, a very nice patio, and remodeled rooms in an old-fashioned style with antique furniture. Almud rooms have air conditioning. The hacienda has a restaurant with a coffee shop that was quite good—the coffee was great, and the staff was very friendly. It also has a swimming pool. There are many trails where you can walk and see the coffee and banana/plantain plantations. There are several waterfalls, and everything is very beautiful, including the animals behind the hacienda. We bought food to feed them. At night, it is very beautiful and romantic. It was truly a wonderful experience, and I definitely want to return. There aren’t many places to stay in Puerto Rico like Hacienda Juanita.
Peacefully place to get away from the city. You will be in a real jungle. It is a cute farm with goats, chickens, and even pavo reales. Nice pool to haing out.
The place is beautiful. The rooms could be better. We stay in one of the rooms with ac, which cost more, and didn’t seem to be cost worth. The hacienda had a cascada like 30 minutes walking distance. They have some sheeps, chickens and peacock on the property. You’ll see plenty of birds, and I definitely loved the view. Staff is very friendly, great customer service. But the restaurant, could give more, most of the things are frozen bought, we tried, pechuga a la parmesana, fries, lasagna, tostones…. Also breakfast… the tostones were impossible to eat, obviously frozen ones, which is ok, but, seems like reheated and were so hard… other stuff were OK, nothing great but nothing disgusting.
they advised about a menu for specific prices, which didn’t show on there menu, or were not offered.
The pool was good, we really enjoyed.
If you like to be away from the highways and the rush of big cities, this place is highly recommended. Is high in the mountainside of the island, in an old coffee plantation hacienda. Have a couple of air conditioning rooms, but really, you do not need it. The hacienda has many trails and a little spring that you can enjoy. Is very whimsical. You hear the birds singing since early morning hours. They have a pool and other amenities, great place to relax and rest.
