My wife and I took a last minute tour here and Alberto fit us right in no problem. We’ve done several coffee tours in Central America and this was definitely the best hands on experience. We toured the farm and got to roast our own sample pack of green beans to our liking. Beautiful property and the people were very nice and attentive. The coffee was delicious as we purchased a couple bags to take home. 100% recommend the coffee and the tour. This is one of the rare multi generational locally family owned farms left.

High in the lush mountains of Puerto Rico, sits Cafe Hacienda Prosperidad; a third-generation family-run coffee farm where every cup tells a story of heritage, passion, and precision. We toured the grounds, watched the roasting in action, and learned firsthand what makes this coffee so exceptional. It’s not just 100% farm-grown, it’s unblended and intentionally crafted to bring out the full richness of the beans. When we sat down to sip a fresh cup brewed right on site? It was easily one of the best cups of coffee we’ve ever had. A living legacy of Puerto Rican coffee culture in a breathtaking location. A must visit!

Alberto was the best host for this amazing experience since day one, when I contacted him via email inquiring about the tour schedule for the month of July. I literally received his response in a couple of minutes when he helped me with the booking process.  A month later, we finally visited Hacienda Prosperidad.  We were greeted with a delicious cup of coffee, puertorican "quesitos," and other appetizers! Alberto is the best tour guide and teacher. He took his time to thoroughly explain the whole coffee production process, from seed to cup, with no rush whatsoever.  We had the opportunity to walk through the coffee farm, get some coffee beans directly from the plants, and taste the sweet pulp we had just learned it's in them.  Last but not least, back at the main building, Alberto resumed his presentation covering the drying and toasting processes, and we were able to toast, grind, and brew our own coffee samples.  You don't learn all this with a YouTube video! This is a multisensory experience not available anywhere else but at Hacienda Prosperidad.  Be sure to add this experience to your next staycation if you're a local or to your next trip to PR.

Our group really enjoyed the tour of the farm and learning about coffee. Alberto was an amazing guide and spoke with passion. It was the highlight of our trip and the coffee was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this experience.
