We decided to book the morning tour and had the BEST time! This is an absolutely stunning experience, the horses are so loved and well trained. It felt like I had been riding my whole life lol 😂 and our tour guide was amazing. He was super kind, very funny and passionate about these animals!

If you are torn between going with a horseback riding company that does the south beaches or the one that does the north beaches, hesitate no further and book with Mar Caribe. The beaches of the north are really underrated. We did a private morning tour with Kevin and it was truly the highlight of our trip. I was a new rider and felt extremely nervous but he made me feel so at ease throughout the whole ride. He even went above and beyond and took some amazing in the moment shots of us. His two adorable dogs came along with us and it just added to the experience. 100/10 recommend!
Beautiful experience! 10/10! Felt very organic and unique. Open and free! I’d suggest being prepped to get wet, cuz you will, but it’s worth it and will definitely make you feel alive! Horses are kind and responsive! If you’re more on the adventurous side, then this is the experience you’re looking for! Kevin is the goat! Made it a very enjoyable vibe!
Amazing experience & a must do! Kevin is hands down the best tour guide in PR! Him & Emanuel worked very well with everyone to keep us calm & having a good time! We went on the sunset ride & it was so beautiful 😍 It was a nice walk through the town & into the beach! Breathtaking views of the sunset oh the beach. He makes sure to take a lot of photos of you! Highly recommend! Thank you guys 🙂

Kevin is very supportive, friendly and checked in with me multiple times during this very exciting 1.5-hour horseback riding adventure. His helpful guidance with properly holding the reins and managing Joker, the beautiful horse I rode, was very helpful for a very smooth trek across beautiful, clear-watered La Chata, El Bastamiento, and…the third beach cual yo no recuerdo se llama.
He also provided helpful history about the beaches and wartime relevance, also relating to his meaningful personal military experiences. Honestly, the only reason that I give a picky 4.75 rating is due to him waiting a while after I hilariously struggled with steering the horse’s direction, before giving me an easy and comfortable way to do so with minimal tension on my hands/arms.
Overall, a great guy who made it easy to trust in his horse, his horse-riding expertise and knowledge and…his genuine kindness.
Highly recommend all visitors of Vieques to visit Mar Caribe PR and receive amazing instruction from Kevin and his adorable dogs’ (Bruno + Sonny) company.
