I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, walking distance from many shops and the beach. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptional; friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond throughout my visit. I had an issue with my TV, and it was addressed quickly with no hassle. What really stood out was how the staff continued to check in on me during my stay, which I’m not used to, but definitely appreciated. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We had an issue with bed cleanliness on our first day. The front desk manager addressed the issue promptly and provided the right level of service. I was impressed that she shook my hand upon meeting. A small, but welcomed gesture. This hotel has a great location. The staff, especially at breakfast, were all friendly and approachable. We visited for San Juan Pride and were quite sad to see the hotel did not fly and Pride flags. It is on the parade route and actually suggested as a place to stay for Pride. Hopefully Marriott will do more to show their Pride in 2026! The biggest downfall is the resort fee. We did not use any of the beach amenities. We also couldn’t keep up with when the food/beverage credits applied and where. This really feels like a way to cheat the customer. I would much rather they charge a fee if you want to use the beach amenities.

My stay at this hotel was OK. I love the location as it was very walkable and had many restaurants and stores that were nearby. However, the room was not worth the price paid as the sofa bed was highly uncomfortable and had a strange odor. the partial ocean view is barely any view and is not worth paying the extra for it. After waiting for the room to be ready for about an hour, I would’ve expected it to be cleaner and to have had sheets on the bed. They also charge a $45 resort fee that they say you can use for the restaurant there but the food is very overpriced and the $45 hardly will cover anything you’ll get there so it ends up going to waste. I will say it is nice that they provide umbrellas and beach chairs for you to go to Condado Beach that is nearby. However you’ll have to get there early so that all the umbrellas are not taken. The hotel is only about 12 minutes from the airport, which is also very convenient. Staff were also kind & helpful. The hotel just needs some upgrading and it would be better.

First time staying at The AC Hotel Condado San Juan and I must say that the staff, all the way from the front desk to housekeeping, bartenders, and servers, were all exceptionally pleasant, friendly, and very helpful—truly deserving of an “A+.” The hotel has a nice chill vibe, an aesthetically pleasing look, very clean and very quiet. Our room was spotless, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The only thing I would say is the air-conditioning although working properly because the room was nice and cold it was hard for the air-conditioner to extract the humidity in the room, plus it was raining on and off the whole time we were there which kind of gives you the feeling of wet air but it's understandable. The hotel shares access to the beach which is an easy 5 minute walk. They have a station towards the right that greets you with lounge chairs and umbrellas so we just had to bring our beach towels, our shades and sunscreen. While the food at the hotel was delicious, I found it quite pricey. The only huge complaint I have was on our first day of check-in. I was surprised to hear that a non-refundable resort fee of $45 would be charged to my account each night. I was told this fee could be used as a credit for food and drinks at their Bar.C.Lona Rooftop during lunch and dinner hours, as well as for purchases at their very limited AC store. I was informed that the credit could only be used once a day because it does not roll over and that it could not be used for breakfast, tips, or on your last day of check-out. I didn’t appreciate the pressure of having to spend the $45 credit daily within the hotel, knowing that if I didn't use it, I would lose it. The feeling of knowing that really put a damper on how we wanted to spend our days as we were looking forward to trying out restaurants on the island. Over the course of our seven-day stay, this unexpected cost added up significantly and because of this experience, I have no intention or desire to ever returning to any AC Hotels by Marriott in the future, especially since I've stayed at other hotels in San Juan that had no hidden fees.

it was a nice hotel. Everything seems to have rust on it. I’m guessing that’s because it’s so humid but and everything felt moist. the pool area isn’t covered at all which sucks in the hot sun but it’s on a rooftop. you have to pay for Continental breakfast which was weird but the staff for the most part was very nice. i would come back.
