Casa Coral Luquillo

I was a bit nervous driving through the neighborhood to Casa Coral, but once I saw it all my concerns were immediately alleviated. This is what a hostel should be! It's right next to the water with a cool island breeze adding to the comfortable outdoor areas for socializing. The refrigerator had ample shared space and there were a few nice tables to fellowship downstairs. They are currently working on an upstairs bar that I expect to be just as nice when completed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. While there isn't an ideal space for a large check bag, there was a lockable box to the side of each bed that made a nice private space for valuables. The restroom was clean and functional, as was the sink. The only thing I was disappointed in was that there weren't doors and locks on the shower stalls. While they did upgrade me from my original room, I think I was in a mixed dorm and I find it less than ideal to have a curtain that could awkwardly fly open. I think this could lead to issues for some guests.

Great experience! Very Secure with digital locks for everything! Right on the estuary and beach. In a local area so respect that. Easy access to local attractions and within 25-30min of Ferry to Island. Great kitchen and upstairs dorm room is brand new! Local food is short walk away. Parking is tight so rent small or parking lot a couple blocks away accessible by road or beach.

We LOVED staying in Casa Coral in Luquillo. A calm beach town with cute restaurants, a lively town center, and perfect location (aka right on the beach AND a quick drive to El Yunque). The common areas of the hostel are clean and well-stocked. Drinking water and beach items are available to use for free. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We'd definitely stay at Casa Coral again!

I’ve been to many hostel in my life and this one was the best one so far!! Providing coolers and chair for the beach .. kitchen was amazing and everything was so clean. The girl dorm had nice curtains for the bed, alot of hooks, power sockets, a nice mirror and even ear plugs!!!!! The staff was so so so friendly I felt like a family!!! Ocean view and close to everything by foot. I would go back anytime on a heart beat!!! Thank you so much for this beautiful Paradise!

This is a real great hidden gem in Luquillo, there is a small creek connected to the beach. Derrick helped us with check-in, he was very nice and friendly. We got to walk around and got Pizza at Williams. Room was clean, bathrooms are clean as well and there are lots of directions and rules to follow since its a communal safe environment. This is not a 5 star hotel but for sure a 5 star hostel with all accommodations, we got a room with TV and Wifi works perfectly. Please if you’re looking for a place to crash and meet new people Casa Coral is the perfect place to stay!
