    Our stay at this stunning hotel in Puerto Rico was absolute perfection from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and genuine smiles that instantly made me feel at home. The property is breathtaking—every corner feels like a curated blend of elegance, comfort, and island charm. The room was immaculately clean, and designed with impeccable attention to detail. My suite featured a spectacular view that made every sunrise and sunset feel like a private show just for me. The dining experience was unforgettable—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented at their restaurant. Whether we were enjoying breakfast by the pool or sipping cocktails in the evening, the atmosphere was always relaxed yet sophisticated. The staff truly elevated the experience. They went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, offering personalized touches that made us feel valued and cared for. they made our trip seamless and memorable. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience. If you’re looking for a mix of luxury, comfort, and the magic of Puerto Rico, this is the place you’ll never want to leave.     They charged my credit card $800 for incidentals that they told me would be returned upon check out. I now see a $225 charge on my credit card that they made without my permission for a “resort fee” that i never was made aware of and never agreed to. They used my credit card that I only authorized for incidentals (damages to the room). When I called the front desk they refused to do anything about it. This bait & switch felt very fraudulent for a hotel that claims to be one of the best in Puerto Rico. Upon reaching my room I found the door already wide open and 3 maintenance employees working on several items in the room like the windows, shower door and shower fixtures. They were surprised to see me. After they finished working, I was finally able to enter the room. I found the room incredibly dirty with hair, dust, used contact lenses, and small flakes of tissue paper all embedded in the carpet. I tried to open the window to take in the ocean views and found that the windows were bolted shut by the maintenance team. They also lost my luggage when i first arrived and I had to go look for it in their storage closet myself amongst all the other luggage from other guests. A couple days later the electronic lock on my door stopped working and I was locked out of my room until they were able to gather the resources to change the lock. I expected so much more from a 5 star property, honestly this place felt like a 3 star at best. When I consider the customer service I received and the cleanliness of the rooms I would need to see a lot of changes made before I consider staying here again.

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The room (1 bedroom suite on the 12th floor) was spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, a true home away from home. What really made the stay exceptional was the staff. Every person I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was at the front desk, housekeeping, or the pool restaurant, the service was consistent and warm. They went out of their way to make sure every need was met with a smile. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is relaxing and welcoming. The pool is very nice too. You can tell that attention to detail is a top priority here, and it shows in everything from the sparkling lobby to the neatly arranged amenities in the room. If you're looking for a clean, peaceful place to stay with excellent service and a touch of elegance, this is the hotel for you. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

    This is my new favorite hotel! If you are fan of exceptional service and top notch amenities and accommodations this is the place to stay. Gina at the front desk was such a sweet heart and made my check in experience very pleasant and seamless and Morgan at the pool was also very friendly, professional and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

    I encountered three genuinely friendly people at the Condado Vanderbilt: the lady who checked me in, housekeeping on the 8th floor, and one of the pool attendants. Unfortunately, everyone else seemed miserable to be there. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with pay, lack of tipping, or simply being overwhelmed by the concert crowds, but the service fell far below expectations. At a five-star hotel, I shouldn’t be unloading my own bags when people are not doing anything watch me do it, flagged down for a rushed checkout, or served food that tastes subpar. At the pool, only one server was on duty, and they completely ignored one side. I had to approach the bartender myself, and even then, it felt like they were doing me a favor despite cocktails being $28 each. Valet was also very slow. The suite itself was spacious, clean, and had good AC, but the beds were uncomfortable and left me waking up with back pain. The gym had barely any air conditioning, which made it unpleasant to use. Overall, Condado Vanderbilt feels like it has declined from a true five-star experience rooted in hospitality to something closer to a chain like Hilton The sense of luxury and service is gone and I have been coming here for over 10 years. I don’t see myself returning here and would instead choose Dorado Beach Ritz or the St. Regis, where staff still seem proud of their service and genuinely happy to be there.
