Hotel El Convento

Beautiful hotel, the rooms were great and the bed was comfortable. The service was top notch everyone was so kind and helpful. So many amenities including a daily happy hour and complimentary water and coffee etc available around the clock. Also the courtyard downstairs was gorgeous, and it has a restaurant that serves amazing food. The history behind the hotel is very interesting. The location was great everything we wanted was within walking distance. My wife and I were very happy, anytime we are in San Juan we will stay here.

Gorgeous hotel! The rooms were clean, well sound-proofed and quiet, great AC, classy and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar were great- all the drinks we tried were amazing! Pool and hot tub was so nice to have on a hot day and was never too crowded. The gym is well equipped and clean. The beach access pass was also a great perk for a beach day! Coffee in the mornings was great too, we never made it to the wine and cheese time. Loved all the amenities this hotel had to offer! It is in a great location in old San Juan to walk all around and you can easily uber if you need to get somewhere else. You really get a lot for what you pay for at this hotel

While exploring Old San Juan one day, we came upon this beautiful hotel! We decided to eat lunch there, we sat at a covered bar area, the hotel was so beautiful around us! Our server Andrea was phenomenal, very attentive to all of our needs, and she was so lovely to talk to! The food was delicious! We had such a great experience here at this hotel! It made us want to stay there next time we visit Puerto rico! Thank you so much! 🇵🇷

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend. We had a great experience. The hotel was clean and the room was nice. Loved sitting in the outdoor patio where they serve complimentary coffee every morning. Staff were very welcoming and always willing to help. The location was perfect as it is within easy walking of everything you'd want to see in Old San Juan. Around $500 per night is a bit much for the amenities provided by the hotel but I guess that is what you have to pay to stay at a nice place in such a good location.

I came to this hotel for a wedding and although pricey, it’s worth it! Rooms are very spacious and clean. Employees were awesome. Great ambiance within the hotel lobby, bar area, etc. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. They even give us a larger suite to accommodate us last minute due to bringing an extra person. Would definitely come again. Overall, amazing experience!
