We had a comfortable 4night stay in San juan. The location is great, and although our room didn’t have a direct view, the marina view was beautiful. The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. There is a parking lot available, but the parking fee is charged separately. Breakfast was almost the same every day—French toast and pancakes alternated every other day, and ham and sausage rotated as well. Still, it was good enough to start the day. The free shuttle at the hotel runs every 15 to 30 minutes between 9AM to 6PM. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and they were very helpful.
The hotel itself was pretty nice! However the service was incredibly bad. On the morning of my wedding, the staff called me repeatedly asking me to move after we had already paid for an extension. The problem lies in the fact that the staff at the front desk extended a different room than what we had paid for. Instead of being able to take a bunch of photos with me and my groomsmen getting ready they forced us to move to a two bedroom with no room for hardly any pictures. They mishandled the situation and were quite rude. DO NOT BOOK HERE if you want good service and staff who are good at their job. All in all miserable way to spend the morning of my wedding and the staff member who harassed us on the phone should be let go. Front desk lady was awesome though!
This hotel has a great location, at the heart of El Condado, right in front of the T-Mobile District. Great customer service. Nicole, the receptionist the night we got to the hotel was very nice providing us information about places to visit and providing us all the information about the hotel. The breakfast is a continental breakfast, there is no a lot of variety but was enough for me and my family. We spent 5 days and my wife loved the kitchen on the room. They had everything you need on the kitchen to prepare your own meal, if you need it. The area is very quiet and safe, I really recommend this place.
This Hyatt House is great! Staying here for 4 nights while my wife is on business here, and couldn't ask for a better location and hospitality. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The hotel is clean and very well kept. Our room was spotless and fresh when we arrived. Free ice on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th floors. I don't know what those other reviews were all about, but the coffee was fresh and available at all hours of the day (I get up at 5 am) and the free breakfast is great with lots of hot food options. The parking is reasonably priced and someone at the front desk is always available to validate your ticket whenever needed. I can't speak to the housekeeping, because my wife and I are tidy and don't need it, but I've seen the housekeepers out in the hallways every single day, so I know they are definitely doing their jobs. They have a free shuttle to take you to Viejo San Juan and a beach and another location (can't remember right now) that operates 9-5. Very convenient. And if you're driving, you are only 10 minutes away from Viejo San Juan and 20 minutes from Piñones Beach with all the kioskos. Had a couple drinks at the hotel bar and Charis, the bartender, was awesome. She coached me on my Spanish (😁) and offered to mix me a drink she made up, which she calls the Melon Garden - delicious, and should totally be on the menu. Overall, awesome experience here. Highly recommend!
I was pleasantly surprised, grabbed a room for a quick trip and it was super comfy and clean. Checking in and out was quite simple. And the free breakfast was the biggest surprise, very, very good. The coffee was splendid, for someone from PR that says a lot
