Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar

The rooms have recently been remodeled and are very nice. The beach is very small and you can't really swim in the ocean. The pool and hot tubs in the facilities here are very nice and usable. They have a very nice gym and the game room. The food at the on-site restaurant is very good and they make really good drinks. If you want to do things near the resort you will have to drive at least 15 minutes or more has this Resort is fairly secluded. If all you want to do is lay around and stay in the swimming pool this is a great place. If you do stay here I recommend renting a car so you can get around and go do things you would like to do. There are washer and dryers in each unit the one bedroom has a full kitchen and a huge walk-in shower.

Loved this property. Nice updated room with a great shower, nice pool and hot tub area, nice beach with complimentary umbrellas, sun chairs and a little table. Perfect set up. The on property restaurant was great—ate there several times, good frozen drinks. Would recommend this property and would stay here again. Get the 1 bedroom over the studio if you can, much more room and a lot more seating.

Every thing about this place was excellent all of the staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, the pool and hot tubs were never too crowded, the beach was beautiful and secluded. It’s definitely the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing yet fun place to hang out with family. The bar staff made excellent drinks!! The staff does a great job planning and scheduling daily activities for everyone throughout the day! Very family oriented. The staff is always present making sure all your questions are answered and your needs are met promptly. I especially want to give a shout out to Felix in Security, he always checked in on us at poolside or on the beach, thanks Felix for the great conversations, the great advice on the must see and places to visit while in Puerto Rico. But I mostly want to thank Felix for the laughter!! He made us all laugh so much and made us feel right at home!! He was by far the highlight of our poolside late night visits!! Thanks Felix for encouraging us to get up early and watch the sunrise it was amazing!! I am already planning my next stay at this Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda Del Mar in PR!!! It’s the best in so many ways!!!

Rooms: Spacious. Great A/C. Comfortable beds, even the couch bed. Bathrooms: Showers are very small. My parent's were assigned a disabled room with a not well designed shower. Water would leak into the bathroom next door. Hopefully this gets fixed before another guest uses the room. Kitchen: Outstanding. Just like being at home. The dishwasher didn't work properly, but a new one was installed. Staff: Top notch! All were very helpful and accommodating and willing to help. Hugo at the bar in particular, give him a raise. This is a spot where you come to really get away. The beach is steps away, and you're away from the hustle and bustle of a city. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, private, and well-maintained. The bartenders were fantastic—they made amazing drinks! One of my favorite things was being able to enjoy the pool late at night, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The service was always friendly and on point. The room had everything I needed for a long stay, including a microwave, washer and dryer, and a mini fridge. For the price, it was perfect. The location was also a big plus—centrally located and just about an hour from San Juan, making it easy to explore. The beach was small but private and peaceful—great for relaxing and still enjoying the ocean. I’m definitely planning to come back!
