Not the worst hostel I've stayed at, far from the best. I was there for one night—checked in around 7pm and left early the following morning around 9am. For just a night's sleep, it was fine (the bunks were a bit shaky, would be nice if they updated to sturdier or wooden beds). The property itself has a ton of potential, I hope that one day they capitalize on it. The location is good. I'd recommend it if you just need a place to sleep for a night. I wouldn't want to stay here any longer than that.
Worst hostel experience I have ever had. Do NOT stay here. You get what you pay for. Facilities, Bed sheets are dirty. Dead Cockroaches under the beds. Canceled my stay and requested a refund. Never got one. Beware of misleading/fake pictures on google site. Stay away!
Like others have commented, you get what you pay for. It’s a basic place to sleep for a few nights.
The place is in a great location and with a full-time hostel manager who cares, it could likely turn into a really cool spot. I think it has great potential but it definitely needs some attention and love.
The checkin process is inside the restaurant so you need to go through there. Bring cash as the card machine charges a premium 20%.
Could not recommend staying here more! Perfect Location, right in the center of town with just about everything in walking distance. Beach is only a minute walk away and night life in this area is great! Everyone I had met staying at the hostel were super relaxed down to earth people who made me feel so welcomed. As a young girl staying in a hostel for the first time I was scared going in, but I felt nothing but safe and protected. The restaurant La Marketa attached to the hostel is an awesome place, great drinks, great food, there was live music on Thursday and a bunch of vendors which was an awesome scene. Overall it is a great place and only improving from here. Staying here was the best decision I could have made! Definitely coming back!
