We had such a lovely stay at Tres Palmas!! The rooms were modern and VERY clean, the view of the water was amazing, you can walk down a trail to the beach and it is only a short drive to several restaurants/bars. The cleaning staff went above and beyond, we booked the day of and entry was very simple with a key in a lockbox. We were even given two free vouchers for drinks at the local bar upon arrival. The new owners Brenda and Javier were so welcoming and kind and they are working on opening a beautiful restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel. We hope to come back soon!! I would recommend this place to everyone!
LOVED the room, decor, comfy bed and linens, big TV with so many channels, plenty of wall outlets. Very clean and maids were very nice. Managers very responsive. The only issue I had was water pressure and tepid water temp. Only reason not given 5 stars.
We found this boutique hotel somewhat last minute for our Valentine’s weekend getaway. It was a great location, just a few minutes from town, right across a field to the beach. It is a short drive to explore all the beaches, waterfalls, and surf shops in the area. We were in room 1 and had an ocean view, although being in ground floor was a bit obstructed if the parking lot was full, and we usually had the curtains drawn for privacy since we backed up right to the parking lot.
Check in and out was a breeze, the room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and the coffee served outside the main lobby was nice every morning.
The only “issue” we had (which we didn’t mind) was that the bathroom light would flicker every now and then, almost like a strobe. We spent very little time in the room as is so it was a negligible difference for us.
The restaurant is not currently open, but they do have a location towards town that is delicious and open!
We would definitely stay here again and we had a great time during our visit to Rincon.
Hot water was an issue but the room was clean and beautiful. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
This hotel was clean and well organized. Also, check in/out was a breeze. Our room was #9 which was tucked in at the back of the hotel. No ocean view but the entrance private with a little patio. We were fortunate to be there for the pop up restaurant opening and the food was delicious! Well done chef Eric! I would have given five stars except for the noise from the restaurant. Our room was directly under the kitchen and the dish washer was a bull in china shop. The clanging pots and pans startled us awake several times and eventually I had to go up stairs and remind the staff that the noise from the kitchen transfers directly to our room through the concrete floor. They around 1am but because of all the noise and activity I didn’t get to sleep until 4am. The hotel/restaurant is currently for sale and is a gem. However, the sound transfer issue would be difficult to resolve for any future owner and the comfort their guests. The restaurant is currently closed so this will likely not be an issue in the future.
