Loved the adult vibe here! Besides the restaurant, there’s a cigar lounge for those who enjoy it. Great wines and cocktails, super friendly service, and amazing food as the gnocchi, filet mignon, lamb ravioli with truffle cheese sauce, plus delicious meats and desserts.
An Unforgettable Culinary Experience
We visited Piccolino Restaurant for the first time today and were absolutely delighted. From the moment we arrived, Shirley —our waitress— provided us with outstanding service. She was attentive, kind, and her recommendations were simply perfect.
We started with a melted cheese appetizer, but this was far from the usual kind. It was rich, flavorful, and so delicious we didn’t want it to end. For the main course, I had the duck-filled Sorrentinos in a red wine reduction sauce —a sophisticated and beautifully executed dish. My wife ordered the Stracciatella Fettuccine with shrimp, which was equally delicious and perfectly balanced.
For dessert, we shared a tiramisu and a Manchego cheesecake, both of which were excellent.
We want to give special recognition to Shirley for her warm and impeccable service —she truly elevated our entire experience. We will definitely be coming back. Honestly, we felt like Anton Ego in the movie Ratatouille when he tasted the dish that brought him back to his childhood: that’s how memorable this dinner was.
We had a wonderful experience here!
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. But what truly stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. This place not only serves great meals but also makes you feel right at home.
Highly recommend!
We went to this restaurant because another one we choose was closed. So, we didn't look for any reviews on the place before. The restaurant itself is pretty small. The floor staff was very courteous and patient with us not being familiar with their menu. The wine list is reasonble with a few interesting selections.
But the food was not the highlight of the evening. The onion and chesse empanada was kind of different in terms of size and shape and the doug was kind of flaky like phylo dough. In terms of flavor it was bland like lacking species or something. I had the parmesan rissoto and quite frankly it lacks texture and flavor, I could find the strong flavor of a parmesan cheese. The other persons in my table order soups, croquetas, fettuccine and other pasta plates but nothing was really outstanding in the flavor area. Probably the best memorable item was the cream cheese.
The final tab was around 50 per person including taxes and tip. And talking about tip this is one of those places that the tip is calculated on the total consumption PLUS taxes, which is wrong.
Had a fantastic lunch experience at Piccolino!
The service was attentive and friendly throughout, making us feel truly welcome.
The portion sizes were generous—definitely enough to leave you full and satisfied.
Highly recommen
