Eduardo (owner) is super friendly and helpful. He lives a couple houses from the dock and has kayaks and paddle boards for rent, he puts them in the water for you. Call ahead to ensure he can be there when you arrive. He taught us how to paddle board in one minute, super easy. Protected bay with very little waves, easy to kayak with the family. Hardly anyone there. Trails along the beach. Some limited but okay snorkeling. Prices are reasonable, and Eduardo is a gem of a human, I enjoyed talking on the beach with him after we were all finished. Highly recommend.
We rented a kayak for two and explored the beautiful mangrove forest—a truly wonderful adventure. However, it’s important to be cautious not to drift onto the reef or get stuck on a sandbank.
The rental process was incredibly easy. We simply called the provided phone number, and the owner delivered the kayak directly to the water. He also recommended two routes we could take, both offering stunning views. We rented the kayak for two hours at a cost of $40, and it was worth every penny.
Eduardo was responsive and gave us great tips on how to stay safe on the water in this area, avoiding rocks and reefs. He was very clear and knowledgeable about the conditions which we appreciate! The boards were great — very light and easy to paddle. He also made sure we were properly fitted with life vests. We paddled for 20 minutes to reach the main mangrove area where we were able to explore and see many beautiful fish and a sea turtle before we headed back. We wished we had more than an hour to explore, but our schedule didn’t allow it. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area again. Highly recommended the paddle, and what a joy to speak with Eduardo!

We wanted to go kayaking while vacationing in PR, and this was a fun and easy way to do it! We called the number on the sign outside the house when we arrived, and the owner was really helpful and friendly, letting us use the bathroom in his house and driving the kayaks to the water. $20 for two hours of kayaking; well worth it!
