Excellent place to relax and have a nice cold swim. It is very peaceful. You can definitely connect with nature here. Please take good non slip hiking shoes since the trail can get muddy and slippery at times. The trail also gets uneven at times and there is a tree blocking a bit of one path that you need to pass by. Please bring a bag and take your garbage with you.
Absolutely breathtaking. Super short, easy hike and had the place to ourselves both times we went. I highly recommend taking the the back roads to get there for amazing views. I can't say enough about how beautiful this place is. The pics don't do it justice.
Swimming hole gem. It’s an easy 8-10 minute walk through the woods. We grilled hamburgers and swam in the clean water. It’s fun for all ages. I recommend to take water shoes.
A stunning natural pool that is part of Carite forest in the municipality of Patillas. Is a natural treasure with gray-blue colored waters filled up by streams and a little waterfall. You should bring water shoes to enter to the pool. Is surrounded by trees and an open area with a firepit and gazebos to bring your snacks, food and drinks. A place that you can share with family a friends. Is safe for kids and you can bring your pet. It has a parking space and to get to the pool, you have to walk a 15 minutes trail. Is easy to walk. Is a beautiful place that you will want to come back!
This is a good option if you’re looking for a chill hike with a nice swimming hole at the end. The trail is short but pleasant, great for kids and dogs. There are benches near the swimming hole for those who can’t or don’t want to sit on the ground. Water is clean and a nice temperature. Not too far from the city, definitely worth the trip.
