Great hiking trail. To get to the laguna, park past playa buyè. Walk the trail and when you see the ruins take a sharp left. You will see the trail begin there. Follow it and you will pass cueva cofressi. A few intersections to navigate but using google maps you will have no problem finding the laguna.
Trails and rocks adorn the landscape of this enigmatic nature reserve. Threading its paths with tales of pirates and haunted haciendas, I immersed myself in the memories of the locals, who inspired me to embrace that Guaniquilla hike. Unique and wonderful. ⛰️🫶🏽
