The service in this place is AWFUL. The lady doesn't seem to even want to work there. I entered the place and had to ask twice who was in charge only for the same person who opened the door 5 ft away to look me with her grumpy face and ask me what did I want. She was unnecessarily rude and pushy on the interaction when I told her I wanted to drop off my clothes. Ended up taking my business somewhere else.
Horrible experience! The staff wrongly cautioned me to use minimal soap in the front loading washers. I think perhaps that would have applied if it were liquid laundry detergent (not powder, like I had) My clothes ended up smelling exactly the same as before the wash. I called the owner and she was argumentative and accusatory. She even lied saying she saw from her cameras (bc she wasn’t present) that I had overloaded the dryers and my clothes’ fragrance was due to them being wet. COMPLETELY FALSE. Once I called her out on that, she offered to refund $3 of the $18 I spent at her business. Trying to do everyday tasks like laundry can have a domino effect when you’re traveling. This business owner had ZERO regard. VERY disappointing and stressful. 0 out of 5. Would not recommend
Expensive, only a few washer and dryers work and you only get 3 minutes per $.25 cent for drying, very small space. But the staff work there are great people!
Clean laundromat, washers worked well with no issues - we put our clothes in to dry for 36 minutes which is normally plenty of time at the laundromat we use back home, and the clothes were still very wet - and the laundromat was closing so there was nothing we could do other than hang the clothes to dry because there are no 24-hour laundromats in San Juan.
This laundry saved me from a huge problem. My flight was canceled last minute and I had to buy a flight leaving that night and had all my clothes wet from trips to rivers and beaches from my week stay in PR. My cancelation was unexpected and I had planned to do my laundry the next day.
This place was 15 minutes away, closed at 10 pm (it was a Saturday and the only one within 5-10 miles open this late) there was parking, the people were very friendly and super helpful (i have not used a public laundromat in over 10 yrs I had no idea what i was doing), got both my soap and softener for 1$, and my clothes washed and dried for 2.75 so total was 3.75. I was out in 45 mins with my clothes ready to pack and run to the airport.
Highly recommend this spot!
