I’m currently on vacation in Old San Juan, and my hotel recommended this laundromat for a quick load of laundry before heading back to the United States. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did!
The experience exceeded my expectations. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and offered assistance right away. I was also allowed to sit and wait comfortably while my clothes were washed and dried, which made the process even more convenient. The prices felt very reasonable for the service provided.
The only thing I’ll note is that the walk from my hotel was a bit challenging due to the steep incline, but the walk back down was much easier. Overall, I had a great experience and just wanted to share in case anyone else is considering
Needed a place to wash a load. Was sceptic after reading all reviews.
Place opened right on time! For a small load with laundry detergent from them and 30 min drying. They go by 10min increments also got a dryer sheet, I paid $9 dollars.
They have 3 washers and 2 dryers.
It's the PR people stop the entitlement and expectations!
DO NOT GO HERE if you are a tourist. Unfriendly and wouldn’t look at us, tried to charge my husband $35 for two washer loads and two dryer loads we did ourselves when he went back alone to switch things over he gave her the cash he had which was $25. (She told us a wash was $1.50 and a dryer was $4.50 at the beginning, if we did it ourselves.) When I went back with him to finish she didn’t say anything to us about “the remaining balance”. There were bags of laundry SHE DID with the price and name written on it which were $20-$25. She was trying to swindle two dumb tourists. Very talkative and friendly to the locals though.
We were there for only a day - came in on a cruise ship. Elizabeth was very understanding and kind. Although she was super busy, she was able to wash, dry, and fold our laundry in time for us. Great service - recommend!!
I really wanted to give this place a chance. Three strikes and you’re out…
If you drop your clothes off here expect that you will have your laundry mixed with other folks. This results in slowly losing your clothing with each time, and obviously increases your risk of contracting venereal disease and pests. They should know better.
The management does a poor job of coordinating staffing, so they close on random days— leaving your clothes trapped inside for at least 24 hours.
Wanted to give you guys a third chance after messing up, but I can’t deal with it anymore. Sorry.
