The best bikes for rent in San Juan, Puerto Rico are in Condado. Wide-variety of sizes of high-quality Schwinn 21-speed comfort-hybrids and bikes for kid’s too.
This was a wonderful experience. If you’re into adventuring on your own and exploring this is one way to do it. Renting online was a breeze I paid less than 40$ for 2 hours. Mark was great in explaining about some of the wildlife of the lagoon. You get an excellent view of the city. Overall, I had a great time and I highly recommend.
Mark was very kind and informative! The lagoon was a beautiful paddle and even though we did not see manatees on our trip (never a garentee), it was nice knowing they were there! We saw turtles and plenty of fish and had a great time kayaking!
Mark is an excellent business owner and a has great service. I rent paddle boards from him all the time and my friends have consistently enjoyed the lagoon by renting his kayaks. I always look forward to catching up with him.
Rented a great bike from Mark and Karina - new Schwinn Capital in great shape. They’ll give you a helmet and a lock as well. What I didn’t know (and luckily didn’t need) - if you have a mechanical problem they’ll come pick you up! They’re tucked away on a back street a couple of block off of Ashford Ave. in Condado (right around the corner from Semilla restaurant- our favorite place in San Juan!). I had a great 25+ mile ride out past Isla Verde and along the coastal bike path and wooden boardwalks (a lot In disrepair- be careful - but a fun adventure) then met friends at Ocean Beer Lab. I’d rent from them again.
We were in San Juan a couple weeks ago & found BRPR. It was within walking distance from our hotel & although it's tucked on a small side street we found it. Mike (the owner) was very helpful & set us up with a couple of very nice bikes & told us good places to ride. We rode along the lagoon & into Old San Juan. There's a nice bike trail most of the way & a green bike lane on streets where there was no actual bike path. We had a great time. They also rent watercraft for use in the large Condado lagoon. We enjoyed it so much we returned a few days later.
