The Bacardi Distillery in Puerto Rico is located in Cataño, just across the bay from Old San Juan. It’s known as the world’s largest premium rum distillery and has a rich history dating back to 1862 when Don Facundo Bacardí Massó founded it. The distillery offers guided tours where visitors can learn about the rum-making process, Bacardi’s history, and enjoy tastings of their various rums.

During the tour, visitors typically explore the fermentation and distillation processes, learn about the aging of rum in oak barrels, and see the iconic Bacardi bat logo displayed throughout the facility. The tour often concludes with a visit to the on-site gift shop where guests can purchase Bacardi products and souvenirs.

The Bacardi Distillery is not only a popular tourist attraction but also an important part of Puerto Rico’s cultural and economic heritage, showcasing the island’s connection to the world of rum production.

Booked the rum tasting tour. Had a fun time. You're gifted a free drink upon arrival. Then four Bacardi samples during the tour. They do have food options available for those that don't want to drink on an empty stomach. Tour was a bit brief. More so than anticipated. However, our tour guide Danny made it very entertaining, informative, and worth while. There is a nice little gift shop at the end of the tour. Be sure to arrive early as you will be traveling with traffic. Also, bring paper towels or a cloth due to everything being outside(bars, check-in, & waiting area) until the tour starts. The heat will have you sweating for days. Other than that, a nice little tour/tasting

Booked a legacy tour. It was great but a lot shorter than what I expected. There are English tours and Spanish tours available. You will get a welcome drink and one tasting for the tour. Will want to try a different tour instead of legacy. Driving over there was a challenge. Definitely a lot of traffic so I highly recommend being there early. The staffs are definitely friendly.

We did the Rum Tasting tour and it was phenomenal! Christian was our tour guide and he knocked it out the park. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and made the event fun for all. I highly recommend this tour when you visit beautiful San Juan!

This was such a wonderful experience. I learned so much about Bacardi. I ended up getting the Legacy Tour tickets and I can say it was worth it. You receive a complimentary drink as well as a tasting of their premium rum. If you want to do something fun and random you should definitely go.

Ended up doing this tour unexpectedly while visiting PR w/Family. Our tour guide Will was great, but I found myself bored within 5 mins. Not only did I find the tour boring, it was also VERY overpriced!! $89.20 to sample 4 small sips of Rum & listen to the company's history. In addition, there was a token provided for a complimentary drink (4-5 choices). However, if you wanted something besides the listed choices, there was an additional $4 fee! That didn't sit right w/me, especially after paying $89.20!!! Definitely wouldn't return.
