The Bacardi Distillery in Puerto Rico is located in Cataño, just across the bay from Old San Juan. It’s known as the world’s largest premium rum distillery and has a rich history dating back to 1862 when Don Facundo Bacardí Massó founded it. The distillery offers guided tours where visitors can learn about the rum-making process, Bacardi’s history, and enjoy tastings of their various rums.
During the tour, visitors typically explore the fermentation and distillation processes, learn about the aging of rum in oak barrels, and see the iconic Bacardi bat logo displayed throughout the facility. The tour often concludes with a visit to the on-site gift shop where guests can purchase Bacardi products and souvenirs.
The Bacardi Distillery is not only a popular tourist attraction but also an important part of Puerto Rico’s cultural and economic heritage, showcasing the island’s connection to the world of rum production.

a week agoHad a great day at Bacardi. There were four of us. We started with an early day tour, which was very informative. The open air bar area is relaxing and the complementary drinks are refreshing. We did a mixology class, which was really short. My sister was here 10 years ago and said that they made 4 drinks. This time it was only 2 drinks, but it was fun regardless. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Great place to get good drinks and an eventful adventure.

The grounds are beautiful, everything is timely, the rums were amazing and please spend the money to get the year 8 Bacardi (orange smoked) IYKYK! It’s worth every penny! Something fun to do alone or in a group! Follow my page for more recommendations @got_gourmet

a week agoCasa BACARDÍ is amazing! I loved the tour, and I loved learning how the Bacardi fruit bat means good fortune and family union because I felt like unity among family is exactly what my family and I needed at that time we went, so the place was perfect for us! The area is also Heavenly Beautiful! Without doubt I recommend going! Have a great day!❤️🦇

a month agoI went here on my last day of the trip; Sunday, January 26. I recommend you book your tour online and you must arrive 30 minutes before your tour time. I booked a Mixology tour with my cousin and it was a beautiful experience. We were provided a token to get a complimentary drink, you go on a trolley for a tour around the property, then last you learn to make 2 drinks with everything provided. I love hands on experience and the guava BBQ chicken tenders were a 10/10.

3 weeks agoThe Founders Tour is a must, especially with Alejandra as your tour guide, she made our experience unforgettable and very informative, she knew her stuff and willingly researched more information about the females of the family and their contributions and involvement in the company's upbringing. Service, primos, and overall performance was superb!
