The Lobby at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel

I know it is unusual to write a review of a luxury hotel based on our housekeeping experience. During our stay, we had the pleasure of meeting Gloria Santiago, who truly went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us warmly in the hallway, introduced herself, and let us know she’d be taking care of our room for the duration of our stay. Not only was our room spotless every day, but the level of care and attention to detail made us feel like VIP guests. Each time we passed her in the hall she was extremely friendly. She not only anticipated our needs, she ensured everything was perfect, and added a personal touch that made our trip even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and genuinely friendly, and we can’t thank her enough for making our stay unforgettable. If you have the chance to stay here, you’ll be lucky to have Gloria Santiago looking after you!

Went here with the Resort Pass for a cabana by the pool. Absolutely amazing. Our waitress was super attentive and fun. The pool is great with an amazing atmosphere. Not only did our waitress for the cabana stick out- but Kevin Jimenez was such a fun helpful guy! He was a fun nice face to see- he helped us with towels and everything we asked for. 1000/10 poolside experience thanks to the folks who work there.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in PR and it was wonderful. Very conveniently located. The amenities were great! The food at all the restaurants was amazing. The staff was so accommodating and kind! I left a few items behind in the closet and realized after departing. I called and right away they sent them to me. I would 100 percent recommend staying here and I will definitely be back.

Martin at the Banyan Tree Grill was not only a great Bartender but was the highlight of our trip last week. He was funny, friendly and made a great drink- the espresso martini was delicious! We have been to the El San Juan a few times over the last few years and this year was an interesting visit but Martin has been one of the best staff members we have encountered at the hotel. Also need to mention Laura, our poolside server, she was great too!

Very nice hotel, large, clean, plenty of pools, bars, and restaurants. Has a casino attached. Food/beverage service, hotel employees, room service are all excellent and friendly. They have basketball/tennis courts (no pickleball) with locker room, which was very convenient check out day, was able to spend last day at the beach and clean up for a later flight out. If I had two suggestions, have some cleanup seaweed on the beach in the morning (I've seen hotels in other areas do this) and have employee in the fitness facility (which is a great fitness center) during peak hours, needs restocking of water/towels/cleaning supplies. When in San Juan I would stay here again.
