Relax in our beautiful gated estate, Villa Bohemia I. This property features a pool, a large front house, a detached back-house/guest-house, two rooftop terraces, two great porches with swinging chairs, an amazing balcony off the master bedroom, and a separate Sister Property next door, Villa Bohemia “II”. You can also rent Villa Bohemia II (if available) to accommodate more friends and spread out. Located in the heart of Condado, “the Waikiki of the Caribbean” (better, in fact 🙂❤️🇵🇷), just a few blocks from the best beaches and restaurants.
The Space

We provide a huge generator and water tower (cistern) to ensure you are comfortable even when the water and power inevitably go out in the city. Our property is located in one of the oldest sections of Condado, with long-established foliage and wildlife. While we maintain regular upkeep, you may find some fallen leaves and the occasional mango (great for eating) on the property. We cannot control the neighboring roosters who crow from time to time – it’s part of the Puerto Rico experience. We use natural and effective pest control, but as this is the tropics, you may encounter an insect or two. Puerto Rico has power/water outages, but we provide a brand-new generator and water cistern.

Guests have convenient access to beaches, restaurants, and other amenities. The property includes 2 parking spaces.
Neighborhood
To ensure you have the best possible experience during your stay, please read this message thoroughly and share the information with your fellow travelers. There are a few important things to know about coming to Puerto Rico and understanding “island time.” Life here moves at a different pace. When we moved here in 2018, it took us about a year to adjust to the island’s pace. Keep this in mind if anything needs to be fixed during your stay.
This is the Caribbean, and although Puerto Rico is a US territory, municipal services do not operate the same way as in the States.
We provide services under a “best effort” policy. Our cistern and generator are new and should perform better than other Airbnbs in the region. However, if the power goes out and the generator breaks, it will take time to get a mechanic, especially in Puerto Rico. Our team (including house manager, handyman, plumbers, AC technicians, electricians, landscapers, pool service, water delivery, and cleaning staff) will do everything possible to address any issues as quickly as possible.
If you do not hear from our team over the app within 15 minutes, please call or text us.
**Note: If the water goes out, it is crucial not to drain the cistern (which holds approximately 1000 gallons). We recommend using it only for the toilets until the water company restores service. If all the water in the cistern is used and you want more delivered, the fee is $300. If the power goes out and the generator runs for a 24-hour period, the cost is $500 per day.
Other Things to Note
Local/on-island bookings will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
Early check-in requests will be accommodated when possible but will require a $300 additional fee due to the property’s large size and high activity level.
The pricing is set up to accommodate both smaller and larger groups. Please enter the correct number of guests when booking.
We encourage guests to buy Airbnb trip insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances.
