Both myself and my two kids (currently ages 14 and 8) take jujitsu and we could not be happier. The instructors are amazing and very dedicated not just to the martial art but also to personal development - both for children who need to develop emotional control, confidence, discipline and healthy habits but also for adults looking for something to center their lives. Along with the jujitsu comes Sensei Wilfredo's approach to parenting, child psychology, health and personal development. I have seen the impact this has had on both me and my kids. My son went from an introvert who questioned his every action to a leader who stand on the side of fair play and helping other kids. His confidence level has skyrocketed and his sense of purpose is well beyond any other 14 year old I know. The name is perfect Jujitsu FAMILY. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and you quickly find yourself part of an extended family. Outside of a good education this is probably the best investment you can make in your children's future.
I have attended Jujitsu Family for 15 years, and it feels like a second home. In my time here I have learned how to control my emotions, self defense, how to be a better leader, and many more things. I feel like the people that I've met are my family. It is a great environment.
Each class is created based on lessons learned, whether it's confidence, security, strength, etc. The adults always come away with some wisdom to put into practice.
