They do not have their own website and the instructor is not very responsive to text messages. I went for a first class and it seemed like he did not want me to train because I did not have an uniform. This is very different compared to US schools which have used uniforms for new students. The placed is located in a place were there is not too much parking and they do not offer to many class times. Just felt upset that he did not even gave me a tour of how classes worked and the cost. I have also asked many times if he at least offers private lessons and no response. They are representing Matt Serra and they should do better.
They never answer calls or messages. The place is in the plaza, which has almost no parking, and they don't have specific hours. I don't think it's safe to leave your car parked in the plaza at 8:30 p.m., when classes end.
It is a place with a good, pleasant atmosphere, all the trainers are willing to teach a %100 clean, respectful place with a lot of training. I recommend it.

6 years agoSerra BJJ Puerto Rico offers the best BJJ on the west coast of Puerto Rico and it’s one of the best BJJ dojos on the island.

3 years agoFrom the facilities, location to the instructors, everything is excellent. Impossible not to come away with something new from each practice.
