La Hacienda Foods Condado

We stopped in here several times during our visit.  It was within blocks from our hotel. We had coffee on both of our visit. The coffee is good but very hot and they have plenty of seating. The place is very clean. We wanted to try some of the pastry items but most of them came in bulk sizes or maybe we missed the individual items due to the poor service. We were not happy with the service.  On both visits we had a young lady with a bad attitude and NOT friendly so we limited our interactions to coffee.

Organic supermarket in Condado. You can sit and have coffee, as well: about a dozen table with chairs available. Very clean. Lots of merchandise packed on the shelves and in the refrigerated section. Plant based cheese plus an assortment of meats. But so expensive.

Terrible customer service. Lady in deli has a beef with Life. Appears to be mad assisting customers. Should work in postal office in the back area.

Clean and modern market with organic and select produce in the $$-$$$ price range, cafeteria-style hot foods, grab & go, AND a coffee bar! On their coffee: Even though it doesn't show up on Google Maps under "coffee", there's a Cafe Hacienda San Pedro! It does seem they have a smaller selection of beans (no peaberry and only San Pedro in the grinder the day I went) but a great pitstop for a recharge with AC, tables by the window, and proximity to the beach!

I have visited this place many times while in the area, and as much as I want to like it, I will not be back. The grocery items are an excellent, upscale variety, and the deli food is fresh. However, the male barista is cocky, rude and entirely too slow — intentionally slow, it seems. He is too frustrating to deal with first thing in the morning, and I think he knows it, and gets pleasure from it.
