This morning I took my Malibu 2004 to Steven's shop. The reason I took my car was to get orientation concerning a possible malfunction of the electronic power steering system. Steven himself looked after me and immediately performed a scan of the steering system which fortunately, for me did not detect any serious issues. Steven at all times was very polite, patient, helpful and professional and to my surprise did not charge me anything. In these days it is great to know that their are still good people like Steven in this world and I wish him much success in the future. I would gladly refer him to my friends and family members.
Im so glad I found Steven Auto Service on my search for a mechanic.
My Infiniti QX30 had suddenly turned on the check engine, ABS, and other warning lights and the steering wheel had stiffened up so the car wasn’t in condition to function. I later learned that it was having problems with two ABS wheel speed sensors.
I had originally taken it to the dealership and the pricing was absurd. After paying 140 dollars to get my car diagnosed, I decided to look up another alternative to the 2,200 estimate to change the sensors given by the stealership. Mind you, every genuine question I asked was answered with arrogance and the dealership was not transparent because they didn’t even want to show me the oficial diagnosis I had payed for before agreeing or declining the 2k charge. They had preliminarily given me a code that did not exist!!. Finally, they gave me the real one after declining the service because of all the sketchiness.
Thats when I decided to look for a better alternative and came across Steven Auto Service on google. Best decision ever. When I called to explain, John Cordero (CEO) very attentively answered my questions and went above and beyond with handling the transportation of my car from the dealership to his mechanical workshop for 35 dollars less than I had originally payed to the dealerships transportation. Once in his shop, John was very transparent about the whole process, quick to answer all calls, gave consistent updates on my unit and answered every question with an abundance of knowledge and patience.
You can tell John cares about his customers from the moment you make contact with him. They went ahead and did a new diagnostic of the car to be sure that the results were in accordance with the first one. Then diligently started the work getting the sensors needed to fix the problem. The car was fixed in no time, and the cost was more than 50% less than the dealer estimated and with a two year guarantee on the parts and one year guarantee of labor. The familial feel to the shop and knowing that I wasn’t getting ripped off was a relief to what had been a really stressful start.
I cant thank enough the team at SAS for getting me back on the road!!!!!!
