The last time I was in PR, I had the best fish tacos, but it wasn’t at Dos Panza. To my disappointment, I found the place I first had great fish tacos but they no longer serve them. I found Dos Panza on google maps while looking for someplace to eat and people raved about the tacos. Well, here I am. I ordered the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, coconut flan, and fried ice cream. The frozen mango was a drink. For the tacos, I asked the server if soft shell was better or hard shell. He recommended soft shell and he did not disappoint. The fish was just right. Not too breaded and there was plenty of fish. They didn’t skimp out. It was also flavorful on its own. The shrimp was … mediocre. I definitely preferred the fish tacos. Coconut flan is something I haven’t seen/had in NY so of course, I had to try it. It’s just right - not too sweet with a hint of coconut flavor. The fried ice cream wasn’t bad either. Cinnamon is a big thing so on the ice cream, I found cinnamon went well with the ice cream. It just tied the whole dessert together. Just an FYI, driving there at night and parking is rough if you don’t want to park in their lot. It looks sketchy. Just know they do have their own parking lot and there was an attendant there to tell you where you can park. I will definitely revisit for fish tacos again. Until next time dos Panza!
Great customer service, good tacos although the Mexican flavor is missing. The refried beans are pretty good. Margaritas are delicious especially the coconut one. Ask for their happy hour drinks. Be ready to spend $$$.
One of the best tasting chimichanga and enchiladas i had a tourist spot. The sauces are spicy.. and we like them that way. The drink was the tastiest alcoholic drink i ever tasted.. i suggest this place after a great trek at el yunke national park !!!
Last week, we tried Don Pepe—it was fine, nothing too memorable. But then we went to Dos Panza Taqueria… and wow. I’m still speechless. The atmosphere was electric—people were literally dancing while holding the massive Dos Panzas burritos, and my whole family was in awe. The food? Absolute perfection. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the portions were as generous as the smiles from the staff. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel alive, where the energy, the music, and the food come together in the most unforgettable way. I truly wish everyone could experience this gem at least once. Andres was amazing.
Food is so good and people are nice. I had to wait my bag more than an hour after I checked in. AC is quite noisy and I could smell bad sometimes. Except those everything was so good and kids friendly.
