A little hidden Gem. Some local do not even know how to get there. Be aware, there are multiple “Miradores” (lookout platforms) in Lares, this specific one is EL BARCON MIRADOR, it is clearly marked on Google map, the map is precise & correct. 7 minutes away is the El Cepo Restaurant, stop by for even more incredible views, drinks, appetizers or lunch or dinner, for an unforgettable views & food. They have 3 level, the offers 360 degree views, is like their own their lookout tower. Worth the trip.
This viewpoint caught our attention because you find it unexpectedly on the side of the road, and because of the beautiful trees that frame it, it was a bit difficult to find our way, as we had to turn around to get to the front. It was raining a little, but we wanted to get off and enjoy the view quickly. The floor is made of wood; you should be careful that it doesn't become a hazard over time, as it's at a significant height.
