Listen take my review with a grain of salt. I didn’t even stay one night. My flight got cancelled and so I had to book a place for one night. As I’m about to get into bed I see bugs everywhere on it. So at that point I just said it was time to go. The lack of AC, noise, and bugs was too much for me.
This place does not even deserve 1 star. We booked this hostel off of hostel world (do not let the positive hostel world reviews fool you). Upon arrival for 2 nights the door to our shared women’s room was never locked, the AC was not working, I had a single sheet to sleep on no towel or blanket of any sort, the room was infested with roaches and looked like it had never been cleaned before. Then the next day we went out on the town came back to used feminine products all over the bathroom, clogged toilet that had overflowed into the floor, and various bodily fluids (blood, used condoms). Mind you this is a ALL female dorm. My things were taken from my top bunk and slung all over the FILTHY FLOOR, and management did not care in the slightest. I immediately booked us an Airbnb and told management we were leaving and the reasoning above. When contacting management he 1. Accused us of lying. 2. Refused a refund. 3. Refused any sort of apology for the quality of our visit. This experience will be going beyond a Google review as we are reporting this incident to institutions that will handle this. Do not stay here, this place is the equivalent of a homeless shelter and I think a homeless shelter would have better quality to be honest.
Honestly, spend the extra $20 on a nicer place if you can. I stayed here for three nights in a private double with my partner. There was an entire family of cockroaches living in our room, got all over our clothes and bags. Water faucet didn't work, dirty walls, dirty sheets. The toilet had no leg space so my partner (who's 6'2) had to squat on the toilet seat. The wifi didn't work. The fan didn't work. Strange buzzing sounds randomly throughout the night: When we got here, there was no bedding, blanket, towels... etc. We only got an extra top sheet to use night 2 and a dirty towel. PLUS, we found a near empty bottle of body wash, presumably from the last guest so we aren't even sure whether they cleaned the sheets or not.
To be honest, I am a really scrappy person--like really scrappy. I've stayed in some really really questionable places, and I would've been fine with all this but it's. just. so. gross. man. Bugs, and roaches, and mosquitos. Bad ventilation, outlets not working, janky lock. It's straight up disappointing and NOT worth the cost. Just spend the extra $20.
Location isn't bad. Everything else? Not good, 3.5 stars is a compliment. Pictures don't match reality, it's dirty, unkempt, dumpy and while the neatest part is the rooftop hangout and view, you're not spending time there if you're on a short stay. I'm a laid back traveler and don't need the bright and fancy, but this was rough.

The staff is only people that are looking for a free place to stay and they could pay off their rent they let local homeless people from the streets pay and stay there at night as a cheap motel you don’t know who’s in your room. The place is absolutely filthy and it reeks of nothing but alcohol and marijuana. The bar next-door is so loud that it keeps everybody up all night. You can’t sleep the guys that run the place and the girl that runs the place are just nothing but absolutely trash like I said they worked there for free rent and they stay out all day and smoke dope And drink. The beds are filthy. The shower is absolutely nasty. Black mold is absolutely everywhere the cooking area it looks like a third wheel country from Haiti. What else can I say about this place? I’ll never stay there again and I will not recommend to anybody I know of and I’m actually turning it in but the health department for a recent inspection they should not pass inspection whatsoever somebody’s paying off somebody
