It’s not a large museum, but it’s very well organized and packed with fascinating artifacts. You’ll find a wide variety of ship models, historical photos, life jackets, and an array of navigational and life-saving tools. A great stop for anyone interested in maritime history. I saw people only spent a few minutes there but we stayed for an hour, my kids enjoy looking, reading and exploring in this wonderful place.
Absolutely recommend this place. The museum has so much information is a very small space. Ship's models facts and details of all kinds of ships, a great recreation of a battle between Britain and Spain. Super inexpensive when I went July 2025 at $5.
We stopped in to get out of the rain and find more things around Old San Juan. The artifacts are so well maintained, and there is so much history there that I would have never considered or thought of had I not visited. Definitely very interesting in a quaint space.
This museum is an interesting find. It contains a lot of information on various maritime crafts, past and present. It is discreetly situated between two buildings in Old San Juan. So, you can miss it, but it's within walking distance of another popular attraction in Old San Juan. My only issue is its small size. Other than that, there were tons of model ships, and interesting maritime facts, and interactive displays. There was a large display of life preservers from popular maritime vessels like cruise ships.
Excelente! The reciever is very friendly, the museum very clean and organized.
Some Hands on artifacts made it more interesting. Learned many facts about Marine life related to Puerto Rico I was'nt aware about. Highly recomend, take your time to read everthing, the museum is small enough to maintain your attenttion.
