TOP NOTCH FACILITIES. I came over the weekend from my home in LA to record here and it was an amazing experience with friendly staff. Overall, good vibe and we got a lot of work done ✅
I have doubts about it, is it worth it or not? Is the equipment good quality? I won't pay almost $3,000 to be taught poorly. Based on the same comment from someone else, it seems they've covered everything negative about the place.
The rehearsal facilities are relatively good. However, the drums aren't in good condition, the drum heads are quite worn, and the hardware isn't 100% up to scratch. It's a very overused garage drum set.
Support for the console, volume, and EQ simply wasn't available (thank goodness we only needed a microphone for our singer).
The use of the facilities is extremely informal; you call, pay, and that's it. No paperwork, no terms and conditions, no instructions on what you can or can't do, no nothing, no receipt, just like ordering a pizza. However, when you arrive, the welcome isn't what you expect. They quickly read you the rules: no this, no that, no the other (you can't bring water in for your vocalist, surprisingly), they warn you that you're in a private area (which you paid to use), and honestly, it's very easy to get into an argument at that point. The staff is highly biased and prejudges the guests (My recommendation: ignore this and continue with your rehearsal; most of the things they'll bias and warn you about won't happen).
At the end, no staff checked on us, and we were literally able to leave and take everything with us because we were the only ones in the facility. As I said before, it was very informal. We would return, perhaps for the price, but not for the service, treatment, or condition of the equipment.
