Beautiful little swimming hole, easy walk in. Swimming shoes are advised - it's a rocky bottom in the pond. Some benches, but no bathrooms.
When you leave, continue south on 184 for some incredible views!
Unable to find other reviewers locations to have the same experience. Google sent us to someone's house who was kind enough to direct us to what is the office for the trail (may or may not be active). Area around the forest office looks abandoned. (N18.127633, W66.070220) elevation 1635ft.
Bosque Carite is a nature park in Puerto Rico. We visited about 2 years after the hurricane and it has come back beautifully, but some if the picnic structures were still damaged. The little river was very nice and the flora and fauna had recovered nicely. Most of the trails are still there, but some are not as present as before.

3 months agoAbsolutely beautiful hike. There's unfortunately a ton of trash dumped by the restroom and around the swimming hole.
